Donations Sought for Hamden's 'Supplies for School' Project

Supplies are running low with start of school year rapidly approaching.

The school year is rapidly approaching and the Hamden Youth Services Bureau seeks donations to help assist its “Supplies for School” project.

The bureau provides Hamden students with free school supplies to meet their academic requirements. The initiative was created to assist Hamden families who have displayed financial need and are having difficulty in providing their children with the necessary items needed for school.

With supplies running low, residents, schools and/or organizations are welcome to assist the project with donations of any of the following new items: backpacks, notebooks, pencils, pens, rulers, pocket folders, pencil sharpeners, glue, magic markers, tape, calculators, crayons and scissors, three ring binders, etc.
