Extrications Required in Multi-Car Crash in Hamden
Emergency crews are on the scene of the crash: BREAKING

UPDATE: Three people were hospitalized as a result of the crash, but the extent of their injuries wasn't immediately known, according to the New Haven Register.
Crews had to extricate people from both cars following the collision.

HAMDEN, CT — Emergency crews are on the scene of a two-car accident on Whitney Avenue requiring extrication, according to the Hamden Fire Department.
The North Haven Fire Department is assisting and Hamden Police are on the scene investigating.

There was no immediate word on the extent of the injuries involved with the crash.
