Dunbar United Church of Christ Announces Easter Services

extends an invitation to join in its celebration of Easter with services on Thursday and Sunday of Easter Week.

On April 21, Dunbar Church will mark Maundy Thursday with a Tenebrae Service, remembering the events leading up to the death of Christ. The service will begin at 7 p.m.

On Easter Sunday, April 24, Dunbar Church and will join together to celebrate Easter with a traditional Sunrise Service at on Dunbar Hill Road at 5:45AM. The service is followed by breakfast at Church of the Ascension. Suggested donation for the breakfast is $4 for adults and $2 for children.

At 10 a.m. Easter morning, Dunbar UCC will hold its regular Sunday service at Dunbar Church. Afterwards, the Board of Christian Education will host an Easter Egg Hunt on the church grounds. Members, friends and neighbors are welcome to attend.
