Elm City Girls’ Choir to Make Debut in Hamden’s Sunday Performance Series
The 36-member choir, which has received national recognition, will perform "United Song" at Thornton Wilder Hall.

HAMDEN, CT — The Hamden Arts Commission will present the Elm City Girls’ Choir as part of its 2016 - 2017 season of "Peter C. Hereld Sensational Sunday Performance Series."
On Jan. 29, the Elm City Girls' Choir will make their debut in Hamden’s Sunday Series with a performance entitled “United in Song.”
Founded in 1993, the choir has received national recognition, touring extensively throughout North America and Europe, and has appeared at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and Disney World, and on national television. Thirty-six members of the choir will take the stage.

The event begins at 2 p.m. and will be held in the handicapped-accessible Thornton Wilder Hall, Miller Cultural Complex, 2901 Dixwell Ave., Hamden.
Admission is $7 general admission/ $5 for senior citizens, students and children 12 and under. Tickets are sold at the door only. The series is presented with generous support from the estate of former Commissioner Emeritus Peter C. Hereld.
