Hamden, CT (August 16, 2011) – Beauty and The Beast Jr. will take center stage at The Square Foot Theatre from August 25-28, 2011 in the Hamden Plaza (2100 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden). Tickets are now on sale.
Step into the enchanted world of this beloved Disney modern classic. Beauty and The Beast Jr. is full of adventure, thrill, and beautiful music. This “tale as old as time” highlights how very different people find strength in one another and learn how to love.

The production, produced by Jared Andrew Brown and Patrick Laffin for Quick Change Productions, is part of the theatre’s Children’s Series. The show is choreographed by Amy Borysewicz and Jennifer Kaye Pytlak with musical direction by Jameson Forsythe. The show is sponsored by The Jamie A. Hulley Arts Foundation.

Tickets for Beauty and The Beast Jr. are $12 in advance or can be purchased at the door for $15. Advance tickets can be obtained by calling (203)464-8212. Shows are at 7:30p on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday August 25, 26, & 27 and at 7:00p on Sunday August 28. Matinee shows are at 2:00p on Saturday and Sunday August 27 & 28. The mission of The Square Foot Theatre is to establish and maintain a venue for visual and performaing arts through support and education while providing opportunities to experience the arts, through observation, hands-on participation and education.
