Get to know New Haven…One Clue at a Time

It’s another Saturday, you've taken the family to the local park, meandered through your favorite
local stores and occasionally wondered who that statue downtown memorializes...

But have you RACED around town, SOLVED CLUES, and TAKEN ON CHALLENGES to
WIN PRIZES?!?!? If not, then you haven't taken part in the New Haven Urban Scavenger Race
yet! What are you waiting for?

On October 13th, the New Haven Scavenger Race will have teams of 2 to 4 members made up of
families, friends and co-workers, racing around downtown New Haven. The goal is for increased
local community awareness, involvement and support. Some of the clues will take teams to
newly discovered or favorite businesses, local monuments and art work around the city. There
may also be a dare or two...

A locally based non-profit organization will benefit through a donation of a portion of the profits.

Black Bear New Haven (124 Temple Street New Haven, CT 06510) will be hosting a pre-to-post
party for all participants to share stories and socialize.

Sign up ASAP on www.scavengerrace.com and stay up to date on our www.facebook.com/
urbanscavengerrace.

We look forward to racing with you!
