Berthold Brecht's piece of epic theatre "The Caucasian Chalk Circle" is the story of a young peasant girl thrust into the world of motherhood when she adopts a neglected child. When the mother of the child wants the child back, a judge must decide who deserves the child. It is an epic story filled with music written by director Eric Nyquist.
