
Runners and walkers start your Super Bowl festivities early with the Run for Refugees!

The 5K kicks off on Super Bowl Sunday, February 6, 2011 at 10:00 a.m.

All runners will get a race t-shirt. After the race, stick around for the post race party featuring live music & international food.
The challenging certified course starts and finishes at New Haven's Wilbur Cross High School and runs through picturesque East Rock Park. The first half of the course is uphill and the second half is downhill. Alternative route if we have more snow: Less uphill climb, we'll add a flat section along the base of East Rock.

Dress up and win! Runners and walkers are encouraged to support their favorite team with jerseys and costumes. Prizes will be awarded for the best individual and group costumes and best Statue of Liberty costume!
Raise money and win! It's not too late to fundraise to Help for the thousands of refugees who have settled in Connecticut! - Raise $100 or more for IRIS and your entry fee to the race is waived! - Raise $250 and earn a place on the Run for Refugees Team which includes a team photo, technical running shirt, entry fee waived and a goody bag! - Prizes awarded to the top 3 Fundraisers!!
