I wonder why Hamden PD won't pay closer attention to the recent activities on the trail closest to Mather St. This area has suddenly become an attraction for open partying in the wooded areas, drinking, smoking,etc. Since the new apartments have opened, we've noticed a lot of non-resident car traffic and those using the parking lots and walkways for a short cut, to and from Dixwell Ave. Several calls to complain and were told that its private property and not the Town of Hamden responsibility. Really??
