Fugitive Jumps Out Window, Immediately Apprehended by K-9 Blaze: Hamden Police
Police say the man was wanted for criminal charges out of Orange and New Haven Adult Probation and attempted to elude authorities.

Hamden, CT — A Hamden man who was wanted as a fugitive of justice jumped out of a second-story window in an attempt to elude officers but was immediately apprehended by Hamden K-9 Blaze, according to police.
At about 6 a.m. on June 22, Detective Raymond Quinn and other members of the United States Marshal Service Fugitive Task Force and Hamden Police Department responded to 50 Barbara Lane in an attempt to locate Corey Satterfield, who is a fugitive, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Smith said Satterfield was wanted for criminal charges originating from Orange and New Haven Adult Probation. In addition, Hamden Police had a search warrant relating to Satterfield.

Upon police arrival, Satterfield jumped out of a second-floor window and was immediately apprehended by Officer William May’s K-9 partner Blaze, according to Smith.
Satterfield, 30, of 50 Barbara Lane in Hamden, was charged with interfering with a police officer.

Satterfield, who was detained on a $25,000 bond, is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court.
Smith said Satterfield will also be arraigned for the criminal charges stemming from the Orange Police Department and New Haven Adult Probation.
