Hamden Girl Scout Troop 67044 met at Ridgehill Animal Hospital in North Haven on November 2,2019. Dr. Anne Dileone worked with the Girls so they could earn the Brownie Pets badge. The Brownies learned what supplies are needed as well as how to care for various types of pets. The Girls gave a puppy a bath, fed a few dogs, and helped clean the puppy ward.
Before the visit, the troop made two blankets to share with Pepe, a diabetic dog that lives at the hospital. The Girls bought the supplies needed to make the blankets with the proceeds they earned from the Girl Scout Cookie program.
Thank you Dr. Dileone and Ridgehill Animal Hospital!
