Girl Scouts Build App With Quinnipiac University

From Quinnipiac University: Girl Scouts Akilah Cox, left, Emily Ahern, center, worked with Kaitlin Friscia, a computer science major at Quinnipiac University, to build an informational app for the P.L.A.C.E Children's Museum and Creative Arts Center of Hamden during the second annual Hack-a-thon for Social Good, which took place on March 25, at Quinnipiac.

The hack-a-thon was organized to introduce students to technology and to show them how it can be used to create solutions that benefit nonprofit organizations.
