Goodwill Closing Longtime Store In Hamden For New Spot: Report

HAMDEN, CT — Goodwill is closing its longtime store on Dixwell Avenue in Hamden, but plans to move into a new home nearby next month, according to the New Haven Register.

The Register reports Goodwill is moving into the former Rite Aid building just about a half-mile away from its current location at 2369 Dixwell Ave., and renovations are already underway.

Goodwill plans to close the current location in mid-May and open the new store the next day, according to the Register.
