Guilty Plea Made In Murder Of Man Found In Hamden After Explosion
A 39-year-old West Haven man was killed in 2015 and his body was found in Hamden where it was taken to be blown up.

WEST HAVEN, CT — West Haven’s Christopher Miler has pleaded guilty to murder and other charges in connection to the killing of his roommate, Edward Brooks, who was shot to death and his body was taken to Hamden to be blown up on July 4, 2015, according to the New Haven Register.
The Register reports Miller, who also faces federal narcotics charges, will be sentenced on July 14.
Brooks’ body was found wrapped in plastic garbage bag material and bound by rope material, in a wooded area close to where the explosion had occurred on Wintergreen Avenue in Hamden. An explosive-type device and debris were also located in close proximity to the body, according to authorities.

Brooks, who was 39, sustained three apparent gunshot wounds, according to authorities.
Miller and Brooks lived at 59 Front Avenue in West Haven where the residents, including Miller’s mother and his girlfriend, were the subjects of a narcotics investigation.
