Hamden Advances to American Legion U19 Baseball Regionals

HAMDEN, CT - After a thrilling weekend of edge-of-your-seat ballgames, the Hamden U19 American Legion baseball team has advanced to the Southern Regional bracket of the state tournament.

Hamden, the seventh seed, shut out Guilford 1-0 in the sectional opener Saturday, then defeated Wilton 5-2 Sunday to earn a berth in the regionals. They will take on No. 2 Waterbury Wednesday.
