Hamden Community Development Block Grant Survey
Have your voice heard: Officials are asking residents to take a survey on how the town spends its annual community development block grant.
HAMDEN, CT — Town officials are asking residents to take a survey to have their voices heard on how Hamden spends its annual Community Development Block Grant.
The town receives the federal grant each year for “housing and community development projects that primarily benefit low to moderate income residents,” according to a news release from the mayor’s office.
“Every five years, the Town creates a Consolidated Plan which outlines the areas in which the annual grant will be spent,” officials wrote in the release. “We would like you to have a voice in how the Block Grant is spent by telling us where you see the greatest needs in our community.”
