Hamden Deputy Police Chief Placed On Leave, Investigation Launched: Reports
The deputy police chief has been placed on administrative leave amid an investigation, according to multiple reports.

HAMDEN, CT — Hamden Deputy Police Chief Kevin Samperi has been placed on paid administrative leave amid an internal investigation, according to multiple reports.
The CT Examiner reports Samperi was escorted from police headquarters on Wednesday after surrendering his gun, badge, and town-provided SUV.
A police commissioner told the New Haven Register that the investigation followed a claim that was made “about some harassment.”
