Hamden Dog Groomer Credited With Saving Woman’s Life: Report

The owner of a dog grooming business knew something was wrong when the owner didn't pick up her dog, WTNH News 8 reported.

HAMDEN, CT — The owner of a dog grooming business is being credited with saving a North Haven woman’s life after she didn’t pick her dog up at the Land of Paws in Hamden, according to WTNH News 8.

WTNH reports Kevin Maiocco knew something was wrong when Allison Brownlow didn’t pick her dog Charlie up and began calling every number he had for her.

Ultimately, North Haven police broke down the door of her home after nobody answered and they could see feet lying on the ground, according to WTNH. Brownlow was unconscious for several hours after suffering a stroke and a seizure, and is now on the road to recovery after several days in intensive care, WTNH reported.
