Hamden Drive-In Movie Series For Oct. 29 Postponed

HAMDEN, CT — The Oct. 29 Drive-In Movie Series at Town Center Park has been canceled, the Hamden Recreation Department announced Friday.

The showing of “The Sixth Sense” has been canceled due to expected inclement weather.

“The showing has been postponed due to expected high winds and rain, which will impact screen visibility and electronics,” officials wrote in an email. “We wish everyone a very happy and SAFE Halloween weekend!”

Instead, the Recreation Department will show “Remember The Titans” at 7 p.m. on Nov. 12 on the big screen.

“Let’s gear up for Thanksgiving with this American Football Classic! See you In the park,” officials wrote.
