Hamden DTC Chairman’s Car Vandalized With Nails: Report

The chairman of the Hamden Democratic Town Committee found his car had a flat tire with five nails driven into it, according to a report.

HAMDEN, CT — The chairman of the Hamden Democratic Town Committee woke up last Thursday to find that his car had a flat tire with five nails driven into it, according to the New Haven Register.

Sean Grace reported the incident to police and the case remains open, according to the Register.

Grace told the Register he didn’t initially think much of it, but after he brought the car in to get fixed, a worker told him it’s “definitely not an accident.”

The Register reported Grace didn’t make any specific accusations regarding the possible vandalism but indicated it might have to do with the political climate and election season.
