N/A

Have you ever held a public office, whether appointive or elective?

Yes, as part of the Redistricting Commission as well as the Charter Revision Commission.

Now we'd like to ask a few questions about your reasons for running and your general views on politics and government. First, why are you seeking this office?

I am running for Legislative Council because I want to have a voice in some of the decisions made. Some of the decisions made by this administration have been questionable.

Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is \_\_\_, and this is what I intend to do about it.

Taxes & Crime
The taxes in Hamden are very making it very hard for many to stay in Hamden. The town needs to cut expenses where it can to lower taxes.

Crime is a huge deal in Hamden as the violent crimes as well as property crime are on the rise. People are scared to shop and live in Hamden.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I am willing to listen to all side of the equation and don't have a personal agenda one way or another.

If you are challenging an incumbent, in what way do you believe the current officeholder has failed the community?

The previous council has been a rubber stamp on whatever the mayor wanted to do. The Legislative Council should not just be a rubber stamp.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

Transparency is a top concern. Many residents feel this current administration hasn't been transparent at all even though all they did was criticize Mayor Leng for the same issue.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

I am first and foremost financially literate as I have a career in Finance. Secondly, I am always willing to listen both sides of a topic.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

Be true to who you are and don't ever try to be something you are not.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I will not just work for one party, I will work for the town as a whole. I think too many times people let the letter R or D let them define how they will govern. I don't agree with that.
