Hamden Firefighters Launch T-Shirt Fundraiser To Help Family Coping With Cancer
A local firefighter's wife has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, according to the department.

HAMDEN, CT — Buy a t-shirt and you can help a local firefighter’s family impacted by cancer.
The Hamden Professional Firefighters Local 2687 is rallying behind local Firefighter Jaimie Bonet and his wife, Tracey. She was diagnosed months ago with pancreatic cancer, according to the department.
Firefighters have launched a t-shirt fundraiser to benefit the family.

“Our members have created a fundraiser to help support Jaimie and Tracey during this difficult time,” firefighters said, in an announcement. “Please consider purchasing a t-shirt to show your support! Jaimie and Tracey, we love you, you got this!”
Tracey Bonet wrote in a response, “Thank you guys for all of your support throughout this. Our Fire Family has been a rock for not only me but Jaime, and I can’t thank you all enough.”

Pre orders end on May 15, with orders ready for pick up May 23 at the Hamden Fire Station 3.
The t-shirts cost $25 each, and they are black with purple and white lettering, with the messages “Team Tracey” and “Hamden Fire Strong.”
