Hamden Firefighters Respond to Same House Twice in One Day

Hamden firefighters responded to the same house for two fires within hours of each other on Tuesday, according to the New Haven Register.

The Register reports the first fire at 100 Chatterton Way was after unattended cooking sparked a grease fire in the kitchen.

The fire was extinguished but firefighters were back at the house hours later after a fire erupted in the attic, likely due to a “pocket of fire” but it was quickly knocked down, according to the Register.

No injuries were reported.
