Hamden Hall Grad Excelling in Baseball Minor League
Josh Zeid is off to a good start with the minor league affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals.

HAMDEN – After the first month-and-a-half of the season former Hamden Hall Country Day School pitcher Josh Zeid has a 2-1 record for the Memphis Redbirds, the minor league affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals.
Zeid has pitched 37 innings and struck out 32 batters, being used as both a starter and a reliever for the Redbirds, who are 29-19 and in first place in the Pacific Coast League, an AAA affiliate – the next step below the major leagues.
Zeid, 30, parlayed his dominating performance in the World Baseball Classic for team Israel into getting another shot at major league baseball.
