Hamden High School Athletic Fields to Get Facelift

Renovations to the fields are under way and construction will continue throughout the summer.

Renovations to the Hamden High School athletic fields are under way and officials expect the work to be completed by Oct. 6.

Demolition of the football field and track has begun and reconstruction will continue throughout the summer into the early fall.

All areas in the rear of the high school, including the bleachers are off limits except to construction personnel and construction vehicles. Summer programs at the high school will continue as normal with access to the school primarily through the Northern (closest to Chili’s) side of the building.
