Hamden Issues Post-Blizzard Update
Town officials are advising residents of the transfer station's reopening and the termination of the parking ban after the recent blizzard.

HAMDEN, CT — The parking ban will be terminated at 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27. The parking ban will be terminated. The termination of this parking ban is being declared pursuant to Section 71.04 of the Code of the Town of Hamden.
The Hamden Transfer Station will reopen at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 27.

Property owners are reminded of their responsibility to clear all snow and ice from sidewalks in front of their property within 24 hours to create a passable walkway, pursuant to Section 96.26 of the Code of the Town of Hamden.
Mayor Adam Sendroff thanks the Police, Fire, Dispatch, and Public Works & Parks Departments for keeping Hamden safe during this particularly challenging blizzard. Our snow crews worked tirelessly to clear our roads through difficult conditions and are continuing efforts to remove snow throughout town.
