Hamden Little League Team Keeps Playoff Hopes Alive
Hamden squares off against Stamford North again on Saturday.

The Hamden Little League team kept its playoff hopes alive with a 9-8 victory over Stamford North in the Division II state tournament Friday night at Scalzi Park in Stamford.
With the win, Hamden lived to play another day and will face Stamford North again Saturday at Springdale at 7 p.m. with a chance to play Fairfield American in the final on Sunday.
Max Gross hit a three-run home run and also earned the win on the mound.
