Hamden Man Left Loaded Gun Behind in Milford Hotel
A Milford hotel worker discovered the loaded gun after the Hamden man checked out.
Milford police say Vance Willis, 29, of Leonard Road in Hamden, is accused of leaving a loaded gun in his hotel room.
Police said on May 8, the Police Department received a complaint of a found firearm at the Howard Johnson’s Hotel, 1052 Boston Post Road.
Investigation led to a warrant being issued for Willis who left a loaded firearm in a room after checking out.

He was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment. He was released after $5,000 bond.
