Hamden Mayor Garrett Makes Two More Personnel Changes: Report
Two Hamden town employees have been told they will no longer serve under Mayor Lauren Garrett, the report said.
HAMDEN, CT — Two Hamden town employees have been told they will no longer serve under Mayor Lauren Garrett, the New Haven Register reported.
Mark Austin, the town engineer, and Julie Smith, the director of community development, were informed of this change last week, according to the Register. Both were appointed by former Mayor Curt Balzano Leng, who was Hamden's mayor for more than six years.
Garrett has made several other staffing changes, the New Haven Register reported, including the director of public works and the part-time energy and efficiency coordinator positions.
