Hamden Nursing Home Fined: Report
The state Department of Public Health recently fined seven nursing homes in the state for various violations.
HAMDEN, CT — Hamden Rehabilitation and Health Care Center has been fined $3,060 by the state Department of Public Health after a resident was injured while being transferred from a wheelchair to a bed, according to the Connecticut Health I-Team.
Cara Rosner of the Connecticut Health I-Team reports the resident suffered a lower leg laceration, which required 17 sutures, during the incident.
