Hamden Plans Affordable Housing Meeting On March 9

Officials are inviting the public to participate in a discussion about the Town's future plans for affordable housing.

The Mayor, Legislative Council, Planning & Zoning Commission, and Economic Development Commission are inviting the public to participate in a discussion about the Town’s future plans for affordable housing.

In 2021, the State of Connecticut mandated that every municipality has to develop an affordable housing plan.

The Town of Hamden is working with South Central Regional Council of Governments (SCRCOG) to develop the Town’s plan, which is due in June of 2022.

On March 9th, the Town is hosting a meeting in partnership with SCRCOG to review data and strategies that are being developed in advance of the adoption of the Town’s plan.
