Hamden Police Charge Women with Stealing Car
The car was reported stolen from Bridgeport over the weekend.

Hamden police arrested two women for allegedly stealing a car from Bridgeport over the weekend.
Whitney Moss, 27, of New Haven, and Kyameesha Williams, 32, of Valley Stream, New York, were arrested after Sergeant Michael Nawrocki observed a stolen motor vehicle traveling on Leeder Hill Drive at about 6:45 p.m. on Saturday.
Moments later, Nawrocki and his K-9 partner “Hank” took the two occupants into custody, subsequent to a motor vehicle stop. They were assisted by Officers William Iannone and Matthew Barbuto.

Moss was charged with third-degree larceny and first-degree criminal trover. Moss, who was detained on a $5,000 bond, is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on April 8.
Williams was charged with conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit first-degree criminal trover. Williams, who was detained on a $5,000 bond, is also scheduled to appear in court in Meriden on April 8.
