Learn about "The Ruler Approach: Social-Emotional Literacy at Home and in the Classroom," this Thursday, May 16 at 6 p.m. at Hamden High School, Rm C107.
The Hamden PTA and Supt. of Schools Fran Rabinowitz are sponsoring a workshop about the importance of Social-Emotional Learning, regarding academic success, increased student confidence & self-esteem, fostering better family relationships and positive connections between school and home.
The special guest speaker will be Marc Brackett, Ph.D., the director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence.
Pizza and refreshments will be served. Free babysitting will be available. Attendance is limited to the first 150 people.
