Hamden Public Library Hiring For Part-Time Position

HAMDEN, CT — Hamden Public Library is hiring for the part-time, entry-level position of Library Page.

“Get your foot in the door and learn more about working in libraries,” officials wrote in an email.

This position is “an indirect service provider helping maintain the availability of library materials by shelving books and other materials, reading the shelves, and organizing materials in their proper sequence,” according to the job listing. “May provide simple directions to patrons, and may be asked to perform other tasks to support library programs or procedures.”

The closing date to apply is Jan. 31.
