Hamden Public Schools Closed Dec. 17

HAMDEN, CT — Hamden Public Schools will be closed Tuesday, Dec. 17, due to the inclement weather that swept through Connecticut overnight, school officials announced.

“It’s cold! It’s icy! It’s a day to stay home and off of the slippery roads and sidewalks!” officials wrote on the school district’s website. “Due to today's snow and ice storm, Hamden Public Schools will be closed Tuesday, December 17, 2019. Offices will also be closed, and all evening activities have been cancelled or rescheduled.

“Please stay home and stay warm!”
