Hamden Regional Chamber Announces Singing Auditions

From the Hamden Regional Chamber of Commerce:

Can U Sing USA Live Auditions will be held in conjunction with the Hamden Regional Chamber of Commerce Business and Community Expo on April 20th at CFC Arena, located at 1018 Sherman Avenue, Hamden from 1:00pm-3:00pm. This is your chance to sing in front of a panel of coaches to critique and offer valuable advice and style consultations. Auditions are open to both children (9 and up) and adults, and the top performer will be awarded a prize. Winning contestants will then move forward to a final event hosted on a later date.

Singers will have the opportunity to showcase their talents as well as strengthen their online and live audition abilities. The exposure of their musical talent will extend far beyond just the live audience they’re preforming for, it will be displayed on the Can U Sing USA website, the local and state newspapers, as well as on television.

Contestants are welcome to perform all musical styles, however it is recommended that they choose songs that accentuate their personal vocal and performance style. Single and group auditions are welcome and are asked to sing acapella only.

There is a $10 application fee with all proceeds going to Stand Up and Speak Out to Anti Bullying PSA Musical.
