HAMDEN, CT — A Hamden resident recently won $10,000 on a scratch ticket that was sold in Branford, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

The resident won $10,000 on a $100,000 Cashword 12 scratch ticket that was sold at Cumberland Farms at 227 East Main St. in Branford, according to Lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
