Hamden Residents Finish 2022 Boston Marathon

HAMDEN, CT — Three Hamden runners competed in the 2022 Boston Marathon on Monday. Nearly 25,000 runners finished the marathon, including more than 350 from Connecticut.

Everett Hackett, 32, of Hartford, was the top Connecticut runner at 50th place with an official time of 2:24:56. Laura Pierce, 40, of Woodbridge, placed 127th among women and 2,251st overall with a time of 2:55:41.

Michael Kleine, 58, of Hamden, finished the race with an official time of 3:27:23. Linda Cordova, 57, finished in 3:40:25 and Becky Purcell, 46, completed the race with a time of 3:53:07, according to the Boston Athletic Association.
