Hamden Schools Make Decision On School For Friday

A foot of snow fell in some areas Thursday.

HAMDEN, CT — A powerful and quick moving winter storm dropped between 6 and 12 inches of snow on the area Thursday, which is leading to a second straight day off from school for students.

Hamden Superintendent of Schools Jody Goeler posted on Twitter: “Hamden Public Schools will be closed again tomorrow, Friday, January 5th. Stay safe.”

Enjoy the long weekend and be safe as wind chills will be running as low as 20 below zero on Friday and early Saturday. More snow is possible on Monday.
