Hamden Seeks Lifeguards, Here's How To Apply

HAMDEN, CT — Hamden’s Recreation Department is happy to announce that job applications for Lifeguards/Water Safety Instructors are now available!

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, and applicants must have a current Lifeguard Certification. If you are interested in obtaining a Lifeguard Certification, we have opportunities for aspiring lifeguards who are interested in gaining certification.

Candidates interested in applying for the Town’s position as Lifeguard/Water Safety Instructor may pick up an application in the Recreation Department located at the Hamden Government Center, 2750 Dixwell Avenue, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

All applications should be returned to the Recreation Department located at the Hamden Government Center, 2750 Dixwell Avenue, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

All interested candidates are encouraged to apply. Please note, open pool hours include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
