Hamden Students Receive Honors At Area Colleges

HAMDEN, CT — Students from Hamden recently received honors from area colleges, including Eastern Connecticut State University and the University of Hartford.

The following students from Hamden were named to the Spring 2023 Dean’s List at Eastern Connecticut State University.

Tashieka Sangster of Hamden, a full-time senior majoring in Political Science and Criminology.

Mia Civitillo of Hamden, a full-time sophomore majoring in Early Childhood Education and Psychology.

Lanie Cifarelli of Hamden, a full-time first-year student majoring in Health Sciences.

Donald Moorcroft of Hamden, a full-time junior majoring in Health Sciences.

Tianna Romo Kurek of Hamden, a full-time senior majoring in Anthropology.

Angelina Song of Hamden, a full-time senior majoring in Accounting.

To qualify for Dean's List, full-time students must complete a minimum of 12 credits in letter-graded courses with an average GPA of 3.5 or higher in the semester. Part-time students are eligible if they've accumulated 15 or more credits of letter-graded course work with an average GPA of 3.5 or higher.
