Hamden Woman Accused Of Identity Theft: Naugatuck Police

The accused was initially held in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Hamden woman is accused of identity theft in Naugatuck, police said. On Sept. 25, Marie Paparella, 29, of Mix Avenue, was arrested on a warrant.

Police said the warrant was for a fraudulent use of a credit card. Paparella used the victim's credit card to make a total of $197.22 worth of purchases without permission, police said. She was initially held in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

She is charged with second-degree identity theft, credit card theft, illegal use of a credit card, sixth-degree larceny, and receipt of money/goods/service by illegal credit card use.
