Hamden Woman Charged in Fatal Crash
A pedestrian was killed after she was hit by a car while standing on a sidewalk, police said.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A Hamden woman was charged after she fatally struck a pedestrian in January, according to police.
Agnesse Izzo, 28, was charged with felony misconduct with a motor vehicle, according to the New Haven Register. Izzo's vehicle struck Waterbury woman Melissa Tancredi as she stood on a South Frontage Road sidewalk. To sign up for New Haven breaking news alerts and more, click here.
Izzo drove straight in a left turn only lane. She was traveling up to 38 mph in a 25 mph zone, police said in an arrest warrant.
