Hamden's End of Summer Vacation Forecast
There is a hint of autumn in the air before the heat returns and students head back to school.

During last week’s hot and humid weather, it looked a little silly with all those ads broadcasting the return of pumpkin-flavored drinks and treats. Not to mention the Halloween candy and cards in the grocery stores.
It will seem a little more appropriate this week, at least at the beginning of the week, as there is a hint of autumn in the air in the week before most students head back to school.
The early part of the week will be sunny and pleasant, according to the National Weather’s Service’s latest forecast, and it will be a perfect time for one final summer family outing or to take advantage of the annual tax-free back-to-school shopping week.
