We’re clearly in the midst of some nice weather and that will extend through this weekend for all of Connecticut.

There’s some potential stormy weather ahead early next week, but no need to rush through this upcoming Father’s Day weekend, which will be in a word, lovely.

The National Weather Service’s updated Father’s Day weekend forecast:

  • Friday: Mostly sunny, temps in the upper 70s on the coastline and to near 80 inland.
  • Friday night: Mostly cloudy, temps back into the mid 50s.
  • Saturday: Sunshine, low 80s with a light wind possible.
  • Saturday night: Clear, temps into the upper 50s.
  • Sunday: Sunshine, temps near 80 on the shoreline and mid 80s inland.
  • Sunday night: Clear, 60 degrees.
  • Monday: The sun theme continues with temps near 80 on the shore and upper 80s inland.
  • Tuesday: Chance of thunderstorms and showers.
