Hamden's Work Week Weather Forecast
There will be a chance of rain coming up this week and we have the latest details on when and how much.

As we begin the countdown to Thanksgiving, yes it’s really coming up soon, the weather forecast continues to be largely sunny and warm over the next seven days in Connecticut.
There is rain in the forecast on Tuesday and Sunday looks cooler with clouds and a chance of showers, too. As we all know, the state is in desperate need for some rain with parts of Connecticut running a more than 10-inch shortfall of rain.

But the story with this latest forecast is that there will be a few days this week where we’ll hit 60 degrees.
WTNH News 8 Meteorologist Gil Simmons said “Beautiful weather expected today! Sunshine with high temperatures in the lower 60s. Plan on rain moving in for Tuesday!”

Here’s a detailed look at the weather forecast for the next week via the National Weather Service:
- Monday: Sunshine high near 60.
- Tuesday: Rain with a high near 55. We can see between a quarter to a half inch of rain, and the rain ends around midnight.
- Wednesday: Early fog burns off by mid-morning and the sun returns later with a high in the upper 50s.
- Thursday: Sunshine, high temp near 60.
- Friday: Sunny and 60.
- Saturday: Sunny and near 60 degrees.
- Sunday: Cooler, cloudy and a chance of rain.
