‘Heavy Safe’ Stolen From Financial Advisors: Hamden Police

Police are asking for help with identifying a suspect in connection with the burglary of a financial planning business in Hamden.

HAMDEN, CT — Police are asking for help with identifying a suspect in connection with the recent burglary of a financial planning business in Hamden. The burglary took place June 19 at Waddell and Reed, 2319 Whitney Ave., according to Capt. Ronald Smith.

Smith said a “heavy safe” that contained checks, keys and paperwork was stolen. An employee told police that he believed “it would take two people” to lift the safe, according to Smith.
