Hidden Farmers Market and Pet Adoption (resched from 7/19)

Finally, A beautiful day for some outdoor activities! Plan to have dinner outdoors tonight on the Red Barn Lawn at the Hamden Hidden Farmers Market - 2901 Dixwell Ave. (Miller Library Lot - Follow the signs!). Our market tonight features live music by local band Gypsy Rose, Food Truck Dinner by Holy Guacamole, Spuds, DiSorbos, Mamoun's, and Sugar Cupcakes and we finally will get to have our Pet Adoption event with Where the Love Is Rescue, Inc. !! WTLI will be bringing one or more of the cute pups below for you to meet tonight OR will try to match you with another furry friend from their catalog. Market starts at 4pm, Pet Adoption starts around 5pm. THEN -- Tomorrow, Friday July 26th marks the end our the Hamden Free Summer Concert Series with a well-awaited performance by early 90's sensation, 10,000 Maniacs. The show tomorrow starts at 7:30 in Town Center Park with opening band, Steve Rodgers and Friends and then the Maniacs take the stage around 8:15. Bring blankets and chairs for a gorgeous evening under the stars and plan to have dinner outdoors again tomorrow from the 8+ food trucks we have coming. Full list posted tomorrow.
