Holiday Closures Announced For Town Of Hamden
Officials announce the schedule for town buildings and trash collection for Washington's Birthday & Presidents' Day.
HAMDEN, CT — Town officials are reminding residents and staff of the following holiday information.
Town offices and buildings, including Government Center, Keefe Community Center, all Hamden Public Library buildings, and the Hamden Transfer Station, will be closed Monday, Feb. 19 in observance of Washington’s Birthday & Presidents’ Day, and will reopen Tuesday, Feb. 20th at their regularly scheduled hours. The library’s digital branch is available 24/7.

Trash and recycling pick-up will not be affected by this holiday.
The Warming Center at Keefe Community Center will remain open 7 p.m. - 7 a.m., seven nights a week through March 31. Click here for more information.
