Holiday Closures Announced For Town Of Hamden

HAMDEN, CT — Town officials are reminding residents and staff of the following holiday information.

Town offices and buildings, including Government Center, Keefe Community Center, the Senior Center, all Hamden Public Library buildings, and the Hamden Transfer Station, will be closed Friday, June 19, through Sunday, June 21, in observance of Juneteenth, and will reopen Monday, June 22, at their regularly scheduled hours.

The library’s digital branch is available 24/7.

Trash and recycling pick-up will not be affected by this holiday.
